Each spring, I was obsessively watch this field. I have friends who live close to the field give me weekly reports on the height and quality of it’s bloom. When it hits that sweet spot, I know I only have about 2-3 weeks before it gets mowed. My client had seen other images that I have done in that field and she wanted to take advantage of that perfect window. Sadly, the day we arrived for the session, we found that the field had been mowed that morning! Luckily, there is an equally beautiful area at the back of the field where we ended up shooting this session.

The girls are just gorgeous and they have this sweet yet antagonistic relationship between them. I loved watching the squirly faces they made at each other immediately following a super sweet embrace.

This alternate field location proved to be the perfect setting for these beautiful and precious sisters.

Sessions in the field typically take place in late March and early April, depending on the amount of rain we have had. If you would like a session in the field, inquire early so I can put you on my notification list for when it is ripe!
