So far, the girls are winning the count this year by a 3:1 ratio! I have known Paige’s mommy for a while now so I was honored when she asked me to photograph her newborn photos. And I just had to chuckle when she told me that she was having a girl! 2013 has been a year of baby girls.

I went over to her home for a consult. We talked about the basic flow of the session, who would be involved, and where we would shoot. Her front room had the perfect light flowing in so I did not have to look any further. I photograph a lot of newborns in their homes for the comfort and ease of the family {light permitting}. So now I would just wait for notice that she had arrived. Mommy had an OB appointment scheduled for later that day so I looked forward to a progress update.

Funny thing. I went home and the next morning I saw in my facebook newsfeed that she had arrived! So crazy! We set up our shoot date and the rest is history. She was just a perfect model. So tiny, so sleepy and oh so cute.
